Today we’re sharing an important step for Zygon: we’re joining Memority.

We wanted to write this simply and directly, because for a team like ours, moments like this are not really about corporate language. They are about the people who helped build the company and the customers who trusted us early.

Why we started Zygon

Zygon started from a tension we kept seeing inside modern companies:

- teams were adopting more and more applications

- business users had more freedom and moved faster

- IT often had less visibility and less control than it should

We believed in the productivity and flexibility that came with this shift. But we also saw the security limits very clearly.

So the first version of the Zygon idea was not "let's build a traditional IGA company." It was closer to this: how do you preserve flexibility while giving IT and security teams better visibility, better detection, and better ways to help end users manage applications safely?

Over time, working closely with customers made something else obvious. In many environments, the real issue was not only visibility. It was that core identity governance processes were missing, immature, or too limited for the application reality companies were dealing with. That pushed Zygon further into governance, access processes, and the operational side of IGA.

Why Memority

That evolution is a big reason why joining Memority makes so much sense to us.

Memority brings:

- a broader IAM platform

- deep experience in IAM and especially IGA

- a stronger long-term operating foundation

- a credible European position in a market where that matters more and more

For us, the fit is strong because there is very little product overlap. Memority has built real depth in identity governance and access management. Zygon brings modern discovery, visibility, and governance capabilities for SaaS-heavy environments and partially governed application landscapes.

Just as importantly, this comes at a time when more organizations are rethinking the American-centricity of their IT stack and looking for resilient European alternatives for critical systems. We believe Memority is building exactly the kind of platform that can matter in that context.

What this means

For customers, the short version is simple:

- the work we started on modern identity governance gets a stronger long-term foundation

- we can make governance processes more robust with Memority's experience

- we can keep pushing on the security side of the roadmap, especially around detection, remediation, application identities, AI, and non-human identities

For us as builders, it means we can keep pursuing the original intuition behind Zygon, but with more reach and more depth.

Thank you

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who helped get us here.

Thank you to our customers for the trust.

Thank you to our investors for the belief.

Thank you to our employees for the quality of work, care, and resilience you brought every day.

Thank you to our advisors for the perspective and support.

Building Zygon has been one of the most meaningful experiences of our lives. Joining Memority is not a departure from what we believed at the start. It feels like a way to take that idea further.
